Blackjack, also known as twenty-one, is a popular casino banking game played with a deck of 52 cards. The goal of the game is to beat the dealer by getting a hand total as close to 21 as possible, without going over. To deal blackjack, the dealer first shuffles the deck and then deals two cards face up to each player and two cards to themselves, one face up and one face down. If the dealer does not bust, the players’ hands are compared to the dealer’s hand and the player with the highest hand total wins.
